When members of the community partner with us through the gift of their time and talents, warriors and their families receive the critical support they need. The Upstate community, in turn, benefits from the skills, knowledge, and comradery of our warriors and their families.
Time
As a case management organization, our volunteer opportunities vary depending on the needs of our current clients. However, we our ongoing needs include:
- Attorney volunteers for bi-annual legal clinics
- Mentors for career transition, peer-to-peer support, and Veterans Treatment Court
- Volunteers for bi-annual collaborative events (Example: Veteran meal delivery with Meals on Wheels)
Talent
Are you a seasoned professional? You have skills and connections that could prove invaluable to warriors transitioning back into the Upstate workforce.
We are always looking for individuals with expertise in professions including but not limited to, accounting, finance, or criminal and civil law who can offer our warriors:
- Skill-based workshops
- Professional mentorship
- Career planning and coaching
If you have a special certification or skill you think would benefit our warriors, please reach out to us! Not only will you be helping warriors integrate into the community, you will be connecting with the warrior workforce and spreading the word about your business and professional expertise.
