Programs

Our programs provide specialized services and opportunities, enhancing the quality of life for those we serve.

Our Career Services Program provides workforce readiness and networking support to job-seeking warriors and spouses. Whether creating resumés, connecting employers to job-seekers, or hosting SkillBridge participants, we’re fostering hope and purpose through career development.

Our Entrepreneurship Program is for the go-getter warriors ready to turn their big ideas into sustainable businesses. Program participants find mentorship opportunities with seasoned executives, business coaching, guidance on securing investments, and more.

For some veterans, unaddressed trauma can lead to negative outcomes, including substance abuse and justice involvement. We partner with detention centers and law enforcement agencies to connect at-risk and incarcerated veterans with opportunities to regain stability. We work closely with Veterans Treatment Courts (VTC) and behavioral health providers across the Upstate to help veterans find a better path forward.

Our Recreation Program helps warriors and their families get active and connect to others in the community. In partnership with Prisma Health’s Roger C. Peace Rehabilitation Hospital and other organizations, we offer free opportunities ranging from archery to surfing, skiing to yoga, and beyond. When warriors get outdoors with like-minded peers, we see life-changing things happen.

Offered in partnership with Premier Arts Collective, our Therapeutic Art workshops offer year-round opportunities for cathartic self-expression and social connection.

Our Spiritual Support Program connects warriors and families to local faith communities where their spirituality can grow and their sense of purpose flourish.

It is crucial to address the emotional weight that can come from being a first responder. Our peer counseling training and support network can help.

Led by a licensed professional counselor with 23 years of experience in law enforcement and 5 years as a firefighter and paramedic, our two-day training program provides first responders with the tools they need to address the signs of crisis and burnout in their peers—and themselves.

“The training offered through Upstate Warrior Solutions has been invaluable to me. It equips law enforcement officers with the skills to support their colleagues through mental health challenges and stressful situations. This training has not only enhanced my ability to assist fellow officers but also improved my own resilience and emotional well-being.”
