Ally Powell

Ally Powell was born and raised in Greenville, South Carolina. She graduated from the University of South Carolina with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Broadcast Journalism and worked for Fox Sports in Atlanta, Comcast Sports in San Francisco, CBS in Texas and NBC in Greenville, South Carolina. She recently transitioned to the finance world as Assistant Vice President, Premier Private banker at South State Bank and has been working in that role over five years now. She has also enjoyed her role as mother to Holden (14), Ellie (11), and Izzy (deceased) while traveling the country with her husband who formerly was a professional baseball player, now head coach at North Greenville University.

Ally also serves on the board for March of Dimes. She was named one of Top 30 Emerging Leaders under 30 by the Greenville News, Woman of the Year candidate by American Cancer Society, Volunteer of the Year by Donate Life South Carolina, and Cystic Fibrosis Star award winner.
