Groundbreaking Ceremony for Rupert Huse Veteran Center

Upstate Warrior Solution (UWS) is proud to announce the official groundbreaking of the Rupert Huse Veteran Center (RHVC) on Wednesday, March 16th at 770 Pelham Road in Greenville, SC. The RHVC will serve as a hub for veteran services in the Upstate, allowing the nonprofit to reach warriors and their families in even more substantive and farther reaching ways.

In the fall of 2021, a 10-year lease for 770 Pelham Road, a venue totaling 40,000 square feet, was signed between the organization and Real Op Investments. The purpose of the RHVC will be to serve as a one-stop shop for veterans, Guard, Reserve, and active duty service members, as well as their families, ensuring they are supported in every way possible. “Care for our local warriors and their families is challenging, as the existing base of services is often disconnected and difficult for our veterans to navigate. Our veterans need meaningful employment, stable housing, affordable healthcare, and social connectivity, and our current system of support is not getting the job done. As a result, our community is going to take a new approach,” said Charlie Hall, UWS President.

The Rupert Huse Veteran Center is prepared to open its doors later this year with plans to begin serving warriors and their families by early next year. UWS is grateful for this new and exciting chapter of opportunity and looks forward to continuing to provide resources to warriors and their families from all over the Upstate.
