4th Operation Christmas Blessings Bring Cheer to Veterans & First Responder Families

For the fourth year, Upstate Warrior Solution’s (UWS) Operation Christmas Blessings program is set to bring holiday cheer to local veterans, active-duty military, and first responder families in need, especially those impacted by Hurricane Helene. Over 35 Upstate families will benefit from the nonprofit’s program which culminates with a day of festive fun at the Rupert Huse Veteran Center on December 14th, 2024.

UWS’s Operation Christmas Blessings is a collaborative program bringing community members and businesses together to sponsor individual families. Since Thanksgiving, UWS has coordinated with sponsors and volunteers to provide individualized gifts and fresh groceries for each participant family. On December 14th, UWS staff and event volunteers will host participants at the Rupert Huse Veteran Center for a festive day of fun. Families will pick up their gifts and food while also enjoying live music, caroling, and photo opportunities with Santa in the Operation Christmas Blessings “Christmas Village.”

A special thanks to this year’s event sponsors: Andy Quattlebaum Foundation, Greenville Symphony, Greenville Canteen, Find Great People, IPS, VTX, and Cliff’s Residents Outreach.
