Empowering the community to step into the breach for those in crisis is a critical part of saving lives. In collaboration with the Department of Veterans Affairs’s SSG Fox Program, our team facilitated three prevention trainings in 2024. Through these sessions, participants gained practical skills and hands-on training to intervene and save lives.
To the 14 individuals who attended our two-day ASIST suicide prevention training in Easley this week – thank you for your compassion and willingness to respond when needed!
Together we’re saving and changing lives.
“Just two days ago I [encountered] someone threatening suicide and I froze. I feel much more prepared now. I really enjoyed the class!” – Class Participant
