Rupert Huse Veteran Center

The Rupert Huse Veteran Center offers life-changing resources to local warriors and their families

Through the Rupert Huse Veteran Center (RHVC), veterans, first responders, and their families gain direct access to warrior-centric tenants and broader access to Upstate Warrior Solution’s network of community partners. Located at 770 Pelham Road in Greenville, South Carolina, this one-stop shop enables warriors to easily connect with the resources and services they need to thrive.

WORKFORCE DEVELOPMENT & HOUSING STABILITY

Helping our warriors find a flourishing career and a place to call home.

In our warriors’ pursuit of economic stability and home ownership, the RHVC offers in-building access to experts in VA home loans, real estate agents, as well as community and federal resources for financial literacy. In addition to the UWS Employment and Entrepreneurship Program offerings, physical cubicle space and conference room space is also available for warriors to work, hold business meetings, network, and collaborate.

RESOURCES FOR HEALTH & EMOTIONAL WELL-BEING

Exercise for the minds, bodies, and souls of our warriors and their families.

The RHVC hosts peer group gatherings and activities for warrior spouses, children, as well as bereavement support for families of deceased veterans and first responders. As the emotional well-being of our warriors is of the utmost importance, resources for mental and behavioral health are also readily available. In addition to the UWS Outdoor Recreation Program offerings in collaboration with Prisma Health, the B2L Crossfit Gym memberships and fitness classes are also available.

INNOVATION & ENRICHMENT THROUGH ARTS & COMMUNITY

Providing our warriors one-of-a-kind opportunities to lead purpose-filled lives.

The RHVC is the first of its kind in the state. In addition to the many innovative building elements and programs, our in-building art studio provides an outlet for emotional processing, self-expression, and connecting with others in the community. The conference and event space, available for general use, allows for engaging, networking, and bonding – further cultivating warrior integration with the Upstate community.
