GSP airport officials, in cooperation with
airport employers, Upstate Warrior
Solution, and local businesses, hosted the
Edge4Vets PILOT workshop on March 29,
2019.

During the ‘Prepare’ segment of the workshop, mentors provided support for about three dozen veterans, invited by our team at Upstate Warrior Solution, as Edge4Vets taught the veterans how to translate their military strengths and prepared them for jobs that can lead to careers at the airport and in the local Upstate business community. In addition to GSP and airport employers, including American Airlines, G-2, Hudson, TSA, Customs and Border Patrol, and other employers, like BMW, Fed Ex, the Spartanburg Chamber, and others, participated in the expansion of this program initiated by Edge4Vets and Airports Council International.
