Mission Reports for Greenville, Spartanburg, and Tri-County offices

Greenville

We are excited to share our 2018 annual report. Read it at this link.

We hosted a Veteran Coffee Meet-up on May 9 at Grateful Brew from 8-9 a.m. We will be hosting this again on the second Thursday of every month. No RSVP will be required. We hope to see you there!

We are pleased to announce Virginia Barnes and Marc Shen have accepted part-time and full-time positions, respectively. More details on their positions next month. We are excited to have them on board.

Our Fellows, veterans, Jordan Bolding and Theresa Totherow. who served their fellowship year with our Greenville and PRISMA Health Liaison offices, respectively, graduated from the Fellowship Program on July 10. More information to come on their graduation soon.

Spartanburg

Our Fellows, veterans, Alex Ng and Henry Vega, who served their fellowship year in our Spartanburg office, graduated from the Fellowship Program on July 10. Our entire UWS team had a graduation for them on that day. Stay tuned for more details about it.

Our VISTA, Kaitlan Morehouse, who served in our Spartanburg office, had her 2019 VISTA in the Piedmont Impact Celebration on Friday, July 12. Her and her VISTA cohort at United Way of the Piedmont were recognized as the graduating AmeriCorps VISTA members for the 2018-19 term and highlighted their impact during a brief presentation that day. She will be transitioning to her second year of service with us within the next week.

Tri-County

Our Fellows, veterans, Cody Scott and Rudy Ruediger, who served their fellowship year in our Tri-County office, graduated from the Fellowship Program on July 10. More details about their graduation coming soon.
