Although Upstate Warrior Solution was closed on MLK Day, MLK Day of Service 2020 was a huge success! Together, in partnership with United Way of the Piedmont (UWP), the Spartanburg team worked with volunteers to honor the legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. by making it a day ON and bringing the community together to help a veteran. The Spartanburg team, along with five volunteers, worked to help an elderly veteran condense his storage units at Lok-Tite (97 Industrial Park Rd., Roebuck, SC 29376). He had four storage units before we condensed them. We had such a fun time taking part in this year’s MLK Day of Service and cannot wait to partner with UWP next year!
