Aaron served Active Duty in the U.S. Navy as a Petty Officer Second Class from September 16, 2014 to September 2018 when he was honorably discharged.  Since transitioning out of service, Aaron moved to the Upstate of South Carolina, specifically Anderson County.

Since the pandemic was declared, it can be difficult for anyone to stay on top of their finances, especially when there were many organizations furloughing or laying off individuals. It has been no different for Aaron. Because of his financial hardship, Aaron found the application for the COVID-19 Relief Fund on the Upstate Warrior Solution website. Shortly after filling out the information, he was contacted by our Upstate Warrior Solution team in Anderson.

Because of our partnership with the Premier Foundation, UWS has not only assisted this Navy Veteran but 100 veterans like him and their families. In total, we have awarded over $60,000 to assist local veterans throughout the COVID-19 pandemic.
